Equal Pay Day

(CNN)– Today is Equal Pay Day.

It marks how long into this year women have to work to equal last year’s pay for men.

The Census Bureau says it falls a day later than in 2025.

That means the gender pay gap is slightly wider now.

It’s even worse for Black and Hispanic workers.

The Pew Research Center finds women are more likely to prioritize caring for children and say employers treat them differently.
