Netflix raises prices again

(CNN)– Netflix is once again raising prices for all of its streaming plans.

The ad-supported plan will now cost $8.99 a month which is a dollar more from the previous price.

The cost of the standard plan is going up by $2 to $19.99 a month.

The premium plan will now be $26.99 which is also an increase of $2.

The higher prices go into effect Thursday for new members.

Netflix says existing members will be notified in the coming weeks.
