Eli Lilly signs deal to make, sell drugs discovered by Ai
(CNN)–The maker of popular GLP-1 drugs Zepbound and Mounjaro could soon be making and selling drugs discovered by Ai.
Eli Lilly announced it’s partnering with Insilico for the oral drugs discovered by Insilico’s artificial intelligence model Pharma.ai.
The companies will also work together in research and development.
Eli Lilly will pay Insilico $115 million upfront in the deal.
However, according to an exchange filing the deal is valued at as much as $2.75 billion.
