Man accused of kidnapping teens, taking them into the woods

CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies in Calhoun County say a man who kidnapped two teens and took them into the woods before he managed to escape was arrested.

Investigators say Darrius Gilmore is charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and discharging a firearm into a vehicle.

Deputies say Gilmore’s bond was set at $500,000.
