Local Living: Wicked The Musical, Meeting Street Music Fest, Harambee Festival, Columbia International Festival
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, you can follow the yellow brick road to the land of Oz for Wicked The Musical this week.
Showings are at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, April 1, through Friday, April 3 and two shows this Saturday, April 4, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. all at the Koger Center.
The City of West Columbia is hosting their Meeting Street Music Fest this month.
The two-day event will be filled with live music, food and more.
11 bands will perform across multiple stages and Sugar Ray will headline Saturday night.
It all takes place April 17 through April 18.
Benedict College is hosting its 37 annual Harambee Festival.
There will be performances, free health screenings, vendors, food and more.
The festival also provides learning experiences for children and college students.
It kicks off Saturday, April 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Charles W. Johnson Stadium.
General admission is $15 and free for kids 6 and under.

The event showcases music, performing arts, and food from different cultures here in South Carolina.
It takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 18 and from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on April 19 at the state fairgrounds.
