Private sector added 62K jobs in March
(CNN)– Payroll company ADP estimates the private sector added 62,000 jobs last month.
The biggest bump was in health-care and education, which added 58,000 jobs.
That gain was negated by a loss of just as many paychecks in trade, transportation, and utilities.
Good weather and data center builds helped add 30,000 jobs in the construction sector.
Average raises came in at 4.5%, and people who got new jobs saw a 6.6% boost to their pay.
