Sumter Co. deputies investigating after body found early Thursday morning

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation after a body was found early Thursday morning, said officials.

Deputies responded to a home on Narrow Paved Road in Sumter County after receiving a report of a deceased individual on Thursday, April 2.

The person was identified as Robert Edward Gamble, 19, of Lynchburg, South Carolina.

Athourities are investigating Gamble’s death as a homicide, says the sheriff’s office.
