2 Sumter men arrested on child sexual abuse material charges

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The SC Attorney General’s Office announced two Sumter men were arrested on child sexual abuse material charges in separate cases.

According to investigators, 54-year-old Peter Sreckovich and 41-year-old David Crouse distributed files of child sexual abuse material.

In 2022, the Attorney General’s Office says Crouse who is a former Air Force Technical Sergeant at Shaw Air Force Base was charged with possessing child sex abuse material.

Both are charged with 3 counts of 2nd degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Sreckovich is being held at the Sumter County Detention Center while Crouse is out on bond.
