American Girl pays homage to American Girl Doll’s 40th anniversary

(CNN)– A relaunch of eight original American Girl Dolls went on sale Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

The Historical Characters collection pays homage to American Girl Doll’s 40th anniversary this year.

Each doll will include her signature outfit and a book plus packaging inspired by the original design.

This OG collection includes such dolls as Felicity, Kaya, Kit and Samantha.

Each doll retails for $175.
