SC Manufacturers and Commerce to hold gubernatorial debate
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Manufacturers and Commerce will hold a gubernatorial debate Tuesday night.
It starts at 7 p.m., April 7, at USC’s Darla Moore School of Business.
Four GOP candidates, Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette, Attorney General Alan Wilson, Senator Josh Kimbrell, and Representative Ralph Norman are expected to take part.
As well as two Democratic candidates, Representative Jermaine Johnson and Businessman Billy Webster.
Additional candidates will be added to the line-up should they choose to attend.
Governor Henry McMaster’s term ends in 2027.
The primaries start June 9 with the general election on November 3.
