64th annual Prayer Breakfast hosted by the South Carolina Prayer Fellowship

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Hundreds of community members and local lawmakers joined together in prayer this morning at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

It was the 64th annual Prayer Breakfast hosted by the South Carolina Prayer Fellowship.

Governor Henry McMaster and Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette were some of the notable attendees, along with several members of the General Assembly.

Prayers were sent not only for those of us here at home, but those in war-torn areas overseas.

Officials say the prayer breakfast is not a political event, but rather a way for friends from across the state to join together for a common cause.
