Delta expects higher ticket costs
(CNN)– Delta Air Lines says it expects to increase ticket prices later this year.
It says aviation fuel costs were up 14%, year-over-year in the first quarter.
The carrier says it was predicting a $2 billion increase this quarter before news of the two-week U.S. Iran ceasefire deal.
Delta is also increasing its baggage fees but says Summer travel bookings are strong.
