New after-hours pediatric care location to open in the Midlands

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A new after-hours pediatric clinic is opening up in the Midlands, according to officials.

The South Carolina Pediatric Alliance (SCPA) is announcing a new initiative called The Turtle Twilight Pediatric Clinic.

The new clinic will be opening to make it easier and more convenient for families across the Midlands to have greater access to high-quality pediatric care.

Beginning April 13, 2026, after-hours pediatric care will be available Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 1749 Marshall Street in Columbia.

“This is about meeting families where they are,” stated Dr. Alicia McFarland, Chief Medical Officer of the South Carolina Pediatric Alliance. “Parents shouldn’t have to choose between their child’s health and their job or school schedules. The after-hours pediatric clinic will give families more flexibility and peace of mind.”
