Traffic stop lead to discovery of machine gun, Sumter County deputies say
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County deputies say a traffic stop lead to the discovery of a machine gun.

Investigators say a deputy spotted a car with faulty equipment on Pearson Road Tuesday, April 7.
Deputies say after they learned Tyquell Gooden was in possession of marijuana they searched his car and found a semi-automatic handgun that had ben modified to operate as a machine gun.
Gooden was arrested and taken to the Sumter County Detention Center.
