2 properties damaged, 5 people displaced after Hunt Club Road fire
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– CRFD says two properties were damaged and five people are left displaced after a Hunt Club Road fire.
First shift crews headed to the Hunt Club Forest Mobile Home Community on Hunt Club Road shortly before 2 p.m. in response to a fire on Weds, April 15.
The fire started in one mobile home and was spreading to a neighboring property when firefighters arrived to the area, says CRFD.
All occupants of both properties made it out safely.
Two deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department were assisting civilians at the scene and had to be taken by Richland County EMS for treatment.
Columbia-Richland Fire Department says both deputies are expected to be okay.
The fire was extinguished and its cause is under investigation by the Richland County Fire Marshal’s Office.
