Columbia Police arrest 9 people following two-week citywide drug operation

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police have arrested 9 people following a two-week citywide drug operation disrupting narcotics distribution networks operating in the community.

Police say throughout this operation they’ve seized a significant quantity of illegal narcotics like meth, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, along with several firearms, and jewelry believed to be associated with criminal activity among other items.

All suspects were taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
