No serious injuries in school bus wreck in Saluda Co.
SALUDA CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Saluda County School District says one of their school buses was involved in a wreck Monday morning.
In a statement, Saluda County School District Superintendent Dr. Harvey Livingston told ABC Columbia at approximately 7:45 a.m., one of the school buses struck the rear of another vehicle on US-378 near Ivory Key Road.
There were 36 Saluda Middle School & High School students on the bus during the wreck.
Saluda County EMS officials say no one on scene had any visible or serious injuries, but five students were taken to Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood at the request of their parents.
This incident remains under investigation.
