1 killed; 1 injured in collision on SC-6 in Orangeburg Sunday

ORANGEBURG CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says one person is dead and another is injured following a collision Sunday night.
It happened at SC-6 near the intersection of Tee Vee Road at 8:30 p.m.
According to Master Trooper William Bennett, a 2018 Dodge Sedan travelling south attempted to turn left onto SC-6, when a 2023 Freightliner Tractor-Trailer travelling west on SC-6 collided with the Dodge Sedan.
The Dodge Sedan driver died on scene, while the tractor-trailer driver was injured and taken to the hospital.
The Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity as of yet.
Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
