Early voting sets record
(CNN)–
South Carolina’s Primary elections are one week away but voters are already setting records.
The South Carolina State Election Commission announced more than 150,000 votes have been cast during the first week of early voting.
By contrast officials say only around 120,000 were cast in the entire early voting period in 2024.
Most of the early ballots have been cast in Richland County.
Early voting continues through Friday.
