KCSO: Man arrested in relation to Camden May carjacking incident

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Kershaw County deputies have arrested someone in relation to a May carjacking incident that happened in Camden, says the KCSO.

Anogory Santrell Slater, 39, of Rembert was arrested Thursday night, June 4, in Sumter County.

The arrest and subsequent charges were made with the help of the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP), the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Slater is being charged with carjacking, pointing & presenting a firearm at a person, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, grand larceny, hit-and-run with minor personal injury, and driving under suspension – 1st offense.

He was taken to the Kershaw County Detention Center where he currently awaits a bond hearing.
