Apple unveils new version of Siri

(CNN)– Apple unveiled a new version of Siri at its worldwide developers conference Monday, June 8, 2026.

The update for the 15-year-old digital helper comes as Apple aims to keep pace with competing helpers including Chat GPT and Gemini.

The new version which is rebranded as Siri Ai is available on all devices in a standalone app.

Apple also announced upgrades for its iPhone, Mac and iPad alongside new child safety features.

The announcement could mark the last big moment for Tim Cook before he steps down as Apple’s CEO.
