Columbia VA hosts National Veterans Creative Arts Festival this week!

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Get ready to see some of our nation’s heroes showcase their hidden talents for you!

For the first time, Columbia VA is hosting the 2026 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival June 9-14.

Curtis spoke with Amy Kimbler, the festival’s director, & Kevin Stuart, the drama division awardee, on how this event brings over 100 veterans from across the nation together to showcase their talents in the weeklong festival.

You can take part in the upcoming events free of charge below:

• Thursday, June 11, at 6 p.m. Live performances at the University of South
  Carolina Pastides Alumni Center, 900 Senate St., Columbia, SC
• Friday, June 12, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Art & Writing Exhibition at the Columbia
  Metropolitan Convention Center, 1101 Lincoln St, Columbia, SC
