Local first responders gearing up for a blood drive battle
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Local first responders are gearing up for a battle for blood donations.
Tuesday, June 16, the Columbia Police Department, Columbia-Richland Fire Department, and Richland County Sheriff’s Department met to challenge each other and to give blood to the red cross.
It’s all part of the 15th annual blood drive where departments compete to save lives.
The Battle of the Badges Blood Drive will take place next Tuesday, June 23.
