Registration open for RCSD’s Guardians of the Night K9 5K

RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO) – It’s time to hit the ground running or walking in support of your local K9’s.

Registration is now open for Richland County Sheriff’s Department’s 16th Guardians of the Night K9 5K.

It starts on Saturday, September 26 at the State Fairgrounds at the following times:

• 8 p.m. – Untimed 5K Run/Walk
• 9 p.m. – Timed 5K Run

Proceeds from this event benefit RCSD K9s.

The funds go to the Foundation which uses them for training, food, safety equipment, collars, leads and custom-fit ballistic vests and more for each dog.
