Today marks anniversary of Charleston Church Shooting at Mother Emanuel AME
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Today marks the 11 year anniversary of the Charleston Church Shooting at Mother Emanuel AME.
On June 17, 2015 convicted shooter Dylan Roof opened fire on nine people attending a bible study at Mother Emanuel A-M-E church.
New this year, a permanent 25 million dollar memorial honoring the 9 victims on the church grounds is expected to officially open in October.
