Sumter officers searching for 54-year-old man

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Police officers are searching for 54-year-old man after acquaintances contacted police to report concerns, said the police dept.

Sumter Police Department said, efforts to find Jerry Wayne Gibson began after acquaintances contacted police to report concerns and have since not been able to reach him.

Gibson is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 165 lbs. and was last seen wearing a tan flowered shirt, tan pants and Timberland boots.

His hair is described as neat and in dreads.
