Lexington County man sentenced to over 9 years in prison for drug charges

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A  Lexington County man was sentenced on drug and gun charges Monday.

A judge sentenced 22-year-old De’Marionne Miller to more than nine years in federal prison after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possessing the firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime.

On June 14, deputies responded to an apartment after reports of a domestic violence incident.

When they got there Miller ran out of the apartment with an AK style rifle and a backpack.

Deputies caught Miller and found cash, several bags of Marijuana, and two cell phones in the back pack.
