Dominion Energy held meeting on how company prepares for hurricane season

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Dominion Energy held a meeting Friday, June 26, on how they prepare for severe weather during hurricane season.

Representatives from electric operations, natural gas, customer service, and customer assistance groups discussed city and county emergency operations.

Officials also showed crew quarters and equipment areas to see up-close how employees respond to power outages resulting from severe storms.

Dominion Energy serves approximately 1.3 million electric and natural gas customers across the state.
