On June 21 around 6 in the evening, deputies responded in the 100 block of Lost John Road for a report of a woman being followed home.
Deputies say she was driving in her car when 49-year-old Dathan Stukes became agitated and began following her in his car.
Also, deputies say when the woman got home she called a family member who confronted Stukes.
He identified himself as an off-duty law enforcement officer but did not provide law enforcement credentials.
Stukes was determined not to be an officer and was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
