4th of July events in the Midlands

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The country is celebrating 250 years this year for the 4th of July, and every state will have an event.

Here are some events below in the Midlands to check out:

Finlay Park:

From 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. people can enjoy live music, food trucks, a splash pad, and family fun at Finlay Park for free.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 4.

Columbia Fireflies Fireworks:

You can celebrate 4th of July at Segra Park with the Fireflies, an all-you-can-eat picnic buffet and post-game fireworks on July 3 or July 4.

Town of Irmo:

Celebrate Independence Day at Moore Park in Irmo on Saturday, July 4.

The laser light show will kick-off at 7 p.m. with the laser show beginning at 9:30 p.m.

There will be free hotdogs, and family fun for all.
