Deputies: Suspect in Summit shooting turns himself in
Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Richland Co. deputies say Tyjae Miller turned himself in in connection with the June 4th shooting in the Summit neighborhood.
Officials say Miller turned himself in directly to Sheriff Leon Lott Thursday morning.
Deputies say Miller is charged with three counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and aggravated breach of peace.
He was transported to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
Deputies say on June 4th they responded to the Summit to a call of shots fired.
When they arrived deputies say several suspects opened fire on the responding officers.
No deputies were injured in the shooting.
Deputies previously announced the arrest of Aric Hicks, Sireon Beaufort, Alicia Magwood, and Arrington Jones in connection with the shooting.
