Midlands pastor charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

Lexington Co., S.C. (WOLO)– According to an incident report provided to ABC Columbia News, Daniel Rabon,62, was arrested on June 29th and charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

According to the report, Rabon had 26 or more images and videos of minors engaged in sexual activity.

The report also states additional evidence was gathered from social media and statements from Rabon as well as alleged victims.

Based on it’s social media posts, Rabon is identified as the pastor at Taylor Street Baptist Church in Cayce.

Thursday afternoon the church released a statement, it reads, “We at Taylor Street Baptist Church are shocked and in disbelief at the current situation we have found our church family in. We are fully cooperating with the investigation and helping law enforcement in any way we can.  At this time the only knowledge or information we have is what is already known to the public. We were advised by law enforcment to remove our social media page to prevent further families from being targeted. We ask that all those that do to please pray for the victims and their families as well as the members of our congregation.”
