Sheriff: Remains found in Fairfield Co. match DNA of parents accused in child’s death

Aiken Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Thursday morning Aiken Co. Sheriff Marty Sawyer updated the investigation into the death of 4-year old Javeayah Harris.

According to the Sheriff, human remains with DNA consistent with Harris’ parents, Johmarea Harris and Michilae Herring was found in the Cedar Creek Reservoir in Fairfield Co.

Sheriff Sawyer says the parents are now facing additional charges of desecration of human remains.
