Sumter Police investigating single-vehicle crash

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of the driver, say officers.

Police say the crash was reported at about 5:21 p.m. Saturday, July 11, when a car veered off North Guignard Drive at Wactor Street and hit a brick wall.

The driver was taken to Prisma Health Tuomey where he later died.
