Columbia man to spend 16 years in federal prison in connection with trafficking drugs

COLUMBIA, S.C.(WOLO)– A Columbia man will spend 16 years in federal prison for trafficking drugs.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Johnny Dickerson was sentenced after pleading guilty to distributing meth, cocaine, crack, and marijuana.

Officials say Dickerson was arrested following a months long investigation in 2024.

Authorities say Dickerson has prior felony drug convictions as well as a conviction for criminal domestic violence.
