Sidney Royel Selby III, known as “Desiigner,” was charged with three counts of malicious injury to animals, personal property and second-degree domestic violence.

According to reports, officers responded to a home on Arbor Ridge Circle in Conway after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting that Selby had chased a woman with a hammer and was damaging a neighbor’s property.

Upon arrival, officers reportedly found Selby walking outside with blood on his left hand and took him into custody.

Investigators said the incident began after an argument between Selby and his girlfriend, who is also the mother of his child.

The victim told police Selby grabbed two of her phones and smashed them with a hammer, preventing her from calling 911. She then fled the home with their child before Selby allegedly caught up to the victim outside, threw her to the ground, ripped her Dior bag off of her and threw it over a fence before she was able to escape into the neighbor’s home and lock herself in a bathroom.

Selby then allegedly used a hammer to break several front windows of the neighbor’s home in an apparent attempt to force his way inside. Police said he also damaged two vehicles parked outside, including shattering windows and striking a windshield with the hammer.

Selby was treated at Conway Medical Center before being booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center, according to police.
