2 dead; 7 injured in collision on US-15 in Orangeburg

ORANGEBURG CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says two people are dead and seven are injured following a collision Monday night.

It happened at US-15 at SC-210, 3 miles west of Vance, at 9:40 p.m.

According to Lance Corporal Brittany Glover, a 2021 Toyota Camry was travelling west on SC-210 & a 2026 Chrysler Pacifica Van was travelling north on US-15 when the Chrysler struck the Toyota.

This caused the Toyota to run off the right side of the road and overturn.

Troopers say the driver and the passenger in the Toyota died on scene, while all seven passengers in the Chrysler were injured and taken to the hospital.

The Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identities as of yet.

Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
