COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — U.S. Senator Darline Graham’s committee assignments mirror those of her brother, Senator Lindsey Graham.
According to her office, Sen. Darline Graham’s committee assignments for the 119th Congress include the Appropriations, Judiciary, Budget, and Environment and Public Works Committees, which were left vacant when her brother died earlier this month.
Tuesday night, the full Senate ratified her committee assignments. They were unanimously approved.
Her staff told ABC Columbia that vote followed a meeting earlier in the day, during which Graham’s Senate Republican colleagues approved her committee assignments.
“I am honored to serve on each of these powerful and influential committees. As a committed conservative with fierce determination, I will use my position on these panels to secure resources for South Carolina, advance President Trump’s judicial nominees and ensure federal dollars are spent responsibly,” said Senator Darline Graham.
