Columbia NAACP’s Revival of the Vote event starts this Friday!
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The NAACP Columbia SC branch is hosting a special event to encourage people to get out and vote!
The Ministerial Movement Revival of the Vote starts Friday from 5 – 9 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Park, 2300 Greene St.
There will be guest speakers, live choirs, vendors, children’s activities and more!
It’s free to attend!
The branch is also hosting its 39th Annual Freedom Fund Awards Gala Friday, September 25 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, 1101 Lincoln St.
Seating is at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m.
There will be a conversation between national CNN political analysts Bakari Sellers and Shermichael Singleton, with Antjuan Seawright as the MC and moderator.
Tickets are on sale now weekly from Tuesday – Thursday at Noon at their branch office at 1615 Pickens Street.
