Pedestrian killed after being struck by two vehicles on Decker Boulevard
RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles Saturday night.
It happened on Decker Boulevard near Joy Circle at 9:09 p.m.
According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway, the pedestrian was walking north when they were struck by a 2006 Cadillac SUV’s passenger side mirror.
The pedestrian was then hit again by an unknown vehicle that left the scene.
The victim died on scene from their injuries while the Cadillac SUV driver was not hurt.
The Richland County Coroner’s office has not released the victim’s identity as of yet as the investigation continues.
