Two arrested for Felder Street homicide in Orangeburg; victim identified

ORANGEBURG CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Orangeburg authorities have arrested two additional suspects and identified the victim of a homicide in July.

Deputies say Jer’Marion Lee, 18, was taken into custody on Friday and Dylan Creech, 17, turned himself in Saturday morning.

According to Orangeburg County Coroner Sean Fogle, on July 30, Daniel Dowling, III, 23, of Partridge Rd., was shot on Felder Street and later died at the hospital.

Deputies say a third suspect, Ja’Sean Fritz, 20, died on Leesburg Road following a chase and a shootout with Richland County deputies on Thursday, August 6.

Lee and Creech are each charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, discharging a firearm into a vehicle, and criminal conspiracy.

Both were taken to the Orangeburg County Detention Center.
