Powerball Jackpot reaches $1 billion

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– SC Lottery officials say strong sales nationally have raised the Powerball® jackpot to $1 BILLION ahead of Wednesday’s drawing.

Lottery officials say no one had the grand prize ticket Monday night.

Despite that some people did collect significant prizes.
One ticket sold in Gilbert won $150,000.
The next drawing is Wednesday night and it will be the largest it has been since December.
The odds of winning are one in nearly 300 million.
