SC Election Commission: Voter turnout strong for Republican Primary
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials with the South Carolina Election Commission say voter turnout has been strong for Tuesday, Aug. 11’s primary with well over 100 thousand votes cast so far.
Voters that spoke with ABC Columbia say there are several key issues that brought them to the polls.
Polls close at 7 p.m.
Lee Williams is at the watch party for Senator Darline Graham who took over the Senate position from her late brother Lindsey Graham.
The person with the most votes will run against Democrat Dr. Annie Andrews for the South Carolina representative for the U.S. Senate.
