Democrats accuse Paramount CEO of colluding with President Trump

(CNN)– Democrats are intensifying their scrutiny of Paramount CEO David Ellison and his company’s proposed takeover of Warner Brothers Discovery.

The top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee is accusing Ellison of colluding with President Trump and is asking him to sit for a transcribed interview.

Congressman Jamie Raskin’s letter raises concerns about Paramount potentially taking control of CNN.

Warner Brothers Discovery is the parent company of CNN.

Ellison has said CNN and CBS News should operate independently and “tell it straight down the middle.”
