Alex Murdaugh back in court as pretrial hearing begins

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The pretrial hearing for Alex Murdaugh begins on Friday, August 14 at the Lexington County Courthouse.

Murdaugh is back in court after the South Carolina Supreme Court has ruled that he is eligible for a new trial, and overturned his murder convictions.
