Vegan snack company recalls product due to it possibly containing milk

(CNN)– A snack company has issued a recall because some of its vegan snacks may contain milk.

Frankie’s Organic is recalling its plant-based vegan cheddar puffs because they may contain undeclared milk.

People who have an allergy or sensitivity to milk risk a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the snack.

The vegan cheddar puffs were sold in Washington State, Florida and South Carolina.

Consumers who bought the snacks should check for the “best if used by” date of May 16, 2027, and not consume them.

The cheddar puffs can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
