Infrastructure investment paying dividends for SC, SC leaders say
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Leaders from across the state say an investment in infrastructure is paying dividends for South Carolina.
Tuesday, August. 18, top infrastructure leaders met to discuss new economic findings on the impact of infrastructure investment across the state.
Infrastructure refers to basic structural needs like roads, bridges, and power supplies.
Officials say recent investments have created jobs and increased the state’s overall economic output.
While infrastructure investment is underway in the state, InfrastructureReportCard.org, still gives the state a ‘D+’ in the overall condition of the state’s roads, bridges, dams, and other critical systems.
