Poll: Trump’s approval rating sinks to new low

(CNN)– President Donald Trump’s approval rating has hit a new low since his return to the White House.

A new Reuters–Ipsos poll finds just 33% of Americans approve of his job performance.

That’s down two points from earlier this month, and ties his lowest rating during his first term.

The drop comes as Americans express concern about the war with Iran.

80% say they expect U.S. involvement to continue for an extended period.

The conflict has also disrupted global oil trade with U.S. gas prices now averaging more than $4 a gallon.
