Lexington County man sentenced for 2nd murder

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Lexington County man has been sentenced for a second murder.

On November 28, 2023, Devon Tricoche was shot and killed during an armed robbery near the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Leesville.

Investigators say 25-year-old Allon Adams and a co-defendant.committed a planned attack on Tricoche.

While law enforcement was investigating that murder, Adams and the same co-defendant planned a second attack on Tony Etheridge Jr.

Authorities say Adams was originally sentenced to life in prison on November 21 of 2025 for the murder of Etheredge.

A judge also sentenced him to 30 concurrent years in prison for the murder of Tricoche.
