Publix changes express checkout lanes
(CNN)– Publix is making a change to improve its shopping experience.
The grocery chain has removed the ten-item-limit for its express lanes.
It means there’s no longer a need to count the items in your cart before checking out.
If you have more than ten items you can still go through the express lanes.
Publix said in a statement the change is meant to improve checkout efficiency and flow.
The Florida-based chain has more than 1400 locations across eight southern states including South Carolina.
